European Mapping

            Historical Map Searches for land use studies

 

Once again, Compass Consulting is the ONLY Historical Map supplier in the UK to offer a European Mapping Service.

We have undertaken sites in Belgium, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia, and Spain. Outside Europe we have provided maps for sites in Botswana, Canada, Japan and New Zealand. 

European mapping is a complicated and costly service to offer and this is why no other company offers it. The maps come from the country of origin and can range in format from A4 to A0 size.

On average we are able to supply 10 editions per site, but for major cities as many as 20 editions may be available.

We are able to go back at least 100 years, but have gone back to the 1500's for some clients.
